Emilia Isabelle Euphemia Rose Clarke is an English actress from London. She was brought up in Berkshire and gained an interest in acting after seeing the musical “Show Boat”. Her first appearance on television came in an episode of the British soap opera “Doctors”. Her breakthrough role came as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones” in 2011. Further, she played in movies such as “Dom Hemingway”, “Terminator Genisys”, “Me before You” and “Voice from the Stone”. For her role in “Me before You” as Louisa Clark, she shared nominations with Sam Claflin for the Teen Choice Award and the MTV Television Tearjerker Award.

As a “Game of Thrones” star, she got her first tattoo in 2015 – a little bumblebee (queen bee) on her finger, in honor of her new movie. The artist of the tattoo is Dr. Woo, who is famous for his flawless, minimal and unique designs.
